The following sections have been adapted from Behaviour Change Communication in Emergencies: A Toolkit, developed by UNICEF’s Regional Office for South Asia (ROSA) in 2006. This toolkit was designed as a resource for everyone working in emergency situations caused by natural disasters, including programme managers from UNICEF, UN agencies, NGO partners and government personnel to prepare, plan, implement and monitor behaviour change communication initiatives supporting health, hygiene and child protection efforts in emergencies.
The sections of the toolkit below have been left intact in their originally published .pdf format for download and offline viewing and printing.
